Throat cancer is one of the rarest cancers today, with only 1.1% probability of an adult to be diagnosed with it. However, throat cancer is still as dangerous as cancers in other organs, thus it still needs enough attention. If you have noticed something different in your throat like development of lumps, sore throat, coughing off blood and some other symptoms that persists for about 2 weeks, you must consult your doctor right away.

However, it would still be best to maintain a healthy lifestyle to prevent cancer cells from developing in any organs of your body. Minimize your intake with food that contains carcinogens, and increase your fruit and vegetables consumption. Regular check-up to your physician could also help for at least once a year. This could prevent cancer cells from growing in your body for a healthier you.

Start living a healthy lifestyle now, and make yourself free from cancer cells. However, go to an ENT doctor right away if you notice something odd with your throat for early diagnosis of any problem.
